The World in 2010 Gala Dinner Speakers

Daniel Franklin will host The World in 2010 Gala Dinner and has been Executive Editor of The Economist since June 2006, when he also became Editor-In-Chief of Economist.com. Since 2003 he has been Editor of The Economist’s annual publication, “The World in…”.
Ray Zahab is an extreme runner and world record holder (fastest unsupported trip to the South Pole on foot). Ray was the subject of the 2008 documentary Running the Sahara. The film follows his (and two teammates) 7,500 kilometer run across the Sahara in 2008.
Rajeev Venkayya is the Director of Global Health Delivery for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and is responsible for expanding access to health solutions in the developing world.
